There are two pictures for this product. The second picture shows the pot with more depth , so It was little confusing at first but I went ahead and ordered it. I am not disappointed when I received it but there was a black spot inside the pan which was also mentioned by other reviewers. I will update my review if the black spots in the pan get worse with more usage.

Get Ready to Scrub, September 21, 2017

I bought this 1-quart sauce pan primarily because my Calphalon pan in the same size did not have a lid, and I wanted to be able to cook small batches of rice and other grains. While I can do this in the Cuisinart pan, it’s always a mess. The metal is such thin gauge that EVERYTHING I cook in it sticks, and water cooks off way faster than it should. In fact, the pan is so lightweight, that if I’m not careful when I set it down without the lid, it will tip. So if you get this, be prepared to soak & scrub; and account for some food loss.

Great Pan but not for induction cooking!, December 4, 2014

I bought this to use on my induction burner but it didn’t work on it. I thought of sending it back, but I bought an electric burner instead. We are redoing our kitchen, so I don’t have a stove at the moment or not one that is hooked up ;( anyway. I got the induction burner on Amazon to use in the meantime, but then I realized all my Cuisinart and Calphalon cookware won’t work on it. I needed a medium-sized pot and bought this one. I do love it though, and it looks very nice. Cooked dried beans and sausage in it and had no trouble cleaning it to its original shine. Very nice for the price.
